I had a few errands to run earlier. I stopped at Wal-mart for a few things before heading over to the book store. I was looking for a book suggestion and the book seller suggested the Game of Thrones series. The way she described it sounded very interesting. I bought the first one. What the hell. Might as well give it a try.

Thanksgiving is next week already. Does everyone have plans? I cannot believe November is nearly over already. It won't be long before Christmas is upon us. I will probably have to start shopping. I hear other people have already started. I don't even know where to start. I'll have to tackle that after the holidays.

I have a ton of required reading that I only partially enjoy. So I'm reaching out for book suggestions. Is there anything anyone would recommend? I was thinking about starting the Stieg Larson trilogy but I've heard mixed reviews.

When I haven't been in class or doing homework, I have been sucked into my laptop and my writing for the last...well I'm not really sure how many days. My roommate has brought it to my attention that I have been spending too much time holed up in our dorm and writing on my laptop. I am not sure why he thinks so. We're not exactly friendly. We...tolerate each other. I mean we get along but we are not friends or buddies by any means. It doesn't bother me, really. His is kind of single minded and the type that thinks his opinion is the right opinion so I try not to give any opinions. Either way, I've been sitting either on my bed or my best typing away on my laptop and listening to music - using earbuds.
Anyway, that being said, he wants me out of the room for a few hours tonight. I suppose to have his girlfriend over. Would anyone care to do anything tonight?
